Cell theory was first developed by Scheldien and Schwann.  The cell theory was follows by all the living organism except viruses. The cell theory explains that eukaryotes and bacteria are similar.

Both the bacteria and humans are made of more than one cells. Cells acts as the structural and functional unit of the humans and bacteria. All the important functions of the bacteria and humans are done by cells. The living cell of the bacteria and human are arise from the pre existing cell.
