You can check on a calculated. Or you can pretend the number is a whole number not decimal and then when your done count the amount of decimal places in the equation and put the decimal there on the answer! Hope this helped

There is 2 ways you can check it.
1: This way can check if you put the decimal point in the right spot. If your answer has the same number of digits after the decimal point as the number you were dividing, then that is correct.
2: multiply your answer by what you were dividing by. If your doing it right, your answer will be the number you were dividing.
