Answer:

d. Tonya did not lie to her boss because she believed her statement was true

Explanation:

In this situation given, Tonya did not lied to her boss.

Tonya works for her boss as his personal assistant and she keeps a record of everything and schedules her boss's work.

Her boss has a meeting with the client which was scheduled at 3:00 at the afternoon.

But when her boss asked her about the timings of the meeting with the client, Tonya did not check her record diary and told that the meeting was fixed at 3:30 p. m. Tonya was confident about her word and she believed that her statement was correct. But to surprise her she was wrong and the client had been waiting for half an hour because the meeting was scheduled at 3:00 p. m.

Thus the answer is

d. Tonya did not lie to her boss because she believed her statement was true

What if a toy could talk paragraph? Plzz help don’t copy
pentagon [3]

Answer:

It will be maybe a little difficult for me to write about this, as I don't have too may toys left from my childhood. Most of them I have given to some cute children, but I kept a few ones for myself, though. When I was little I used to like playing with toys, almost as much as I enjoyed watching cartoons. These two activities represented pretty much all my hobbies from that time.

At some point, in my magic little world, I came up with the idea that toys were actually alive. I thought of that for a few times. It sounded nice and there was even a cartoon, I don't remember how it was called, which kind of approved my odd idea. For a few days, I even talked to my toys and teddy bear, but of course, they didn't answer me. I wasn't that mad on them, but still, I was a little disappointed.

Now I realize how weird I was, but I also think that, if I could have controlled the rules of life, I would have done a great job. I mean, just think about what would happen if toys could talk. My first toy would probably tell me he is not pleased with his name. My parents named it "Toys". A very nice name for a little tiger. When I grew up, this name began to sound familiar, although I didn't know that much English. I asked my parents why they called it like this, and they said "Oh, honey, we didn't give it a name. It has already had one on the tag". It was so funny to hear that. They really believed the factory that produced the toy gave it a name?!

I assume, not only Toys (I still call my little tiger like this) would have something to say. Maybe the white dolls with black head I "customized" would complain too. But perhaps they would like, at least, the haircuts I made to them. I wasn't that talented as a hair stylist, but I was creative!

Therefore, if I think of my old dolls, maybe I don't want them to be able to talk.

Alja [10]

Answer:

Jim, who is prejudiced against Jewish people, is likely to attribute a Jewish person’s stereotype-inconsistent actions, such as an act of philanthropy, to <u>seasonal causes</u>. In contrast, Jim is likely to attribute a Jewish person’s stereotype-consistent actions, such as self-interested behavior, to <u>dispositional causes.</u>.\

Explanation:

Dispositional attribution: It is based on a person's personality or characteristics. Internal characcteristics (personality traits) cause people to act the way they do

For example: I wrote a bad essay because I decided not to study

Situational Attribution: It is based on a person's situation or environment. External environment (Teacher, President , Police officer)  cause the people to act the way they do

For example: I wrote a bad essay because I didn't get the prompt.

Hence, Jim, who is prejudiced against Jewish people, is likely to attribute a Jewish person’s stereotype-inconsistent actions, such as an act of philanthropy, to <u>seasonal causes</u>.
