President Franklin Roosevelt’s “fireside chats” affects a lot of American people. Suicide rate during this time have tripled and a lot of people became unemployed. The economy was so down during this time. Because of the “fireside chats” of President Roosevelt, people gain confidence it gave a comforting effect to the people during this hard times. And because of the fireside chat the crisis ended.
