Audience has a huge impact on the and of the writing.
Nata [24]

Answer:

Yep, if you want to write about some ancient people and make your writing sound mature and all then read it to an audience of children, they most likely won't understand. Or if you write about a butterfly named, Joe, who flies around town then lives happily ever after, and present that at a job interview.... good luck with that. So, the audience when writing is very important.

Hope that helps and have a great day!

Read the passage.
wolverine [178]
If this is the Diary of Anne Frank, which I believe it is, my guess would be that she is either being critical or she genuinely wants to help them, A or B. It's been so long since I read this, but from what I can remember of Anne, she seems like the type to genuinely want to help them, so I'd guess B.

Help please!! i’m very confused i’m on my last assignment of summer school... “a work of literature must provide more factual ac
Setler [38]
The statement basically states “Books should show us the real world and not a fantasy where we are thought to believe things. It must guide us in our time on Earth.” You are supposed to provide your opinion on what you think.

I would write something like this:

Literature has been around for centuries, maybe even millenniums. It has brought people out of the depths of despair and helped them over come problems in day-to- day life. There are all kinds of books out there - fantasy, adventure, romance, but should all those books be forgotten and thrown out for man only to read non-fictional books that are factual rather than interesting?

On one hand, books should be used as a tool for living. They should be informative and contain facts that could benefit us through out our lifetime. An interesting quote is, ‘Knowledge is the key to life’ therefore reading non-fiction books will help us in the future and reflect our actions when we grow up.

On the other hand, books have been brought to life to transport a person away from his troubles into a fictional world, where they are happy and blissful. Taking away such books and reading only factual information will not benefit a humans mind, for they will grow old and grumpy; they will obtain a lot of information but they will be dissatisfied with life - so what is the point of that? Moreover, books are books. No matter the genre or the origination of the book, it will teach us grammar and vocabulary which is vital for a human to know; it will make us emotionally happy and we will still gain knowledge from it.

In my opinion, Forster is wrong because a work of literature MUST provide a scope for the imagination and it must alter reality a little but for us to imagine - for without imagination, we are nothing.

I hope this helps, and please tell me what grade you got as I would love to know:))

Which point of view allows the narrator to see into the heart and mind of only one character at a time? A. first-person B. third
marshall27 [118]
Since you're only allowed to see what one character is thinking or doing, then the answer should be B. third-person limited. If it was omniscient you would know everything and if it was a first person one, then you would not even see the narrator but rather the character would be the narrator.

Who is awesome? I know I am!
Delvig [45]

Answer: Many people are "awesome", but alas, some are not. and one factor of those people who are not, who try to crush you down with your confidence, people who believe they can do anything if they try, and that they are amazing in many ways, others feed off of that joy and attempt to crumble it down making it smaller and smaller. dont listen to those people, dont let them say you cant, you are "awesome", and everybody could be "awesome" and can fight against those who find joy from the suffering of others, grow you confidence, build your independence, and dont let any non believers pull you under, you are "awesome" and nobody can say otherwise. Someday you will change somebody's life, that day is yet to come, but it will, and you will be remembered for your greatness.

you are "awesome".
