Answer:

Cholesterol synthesizes Testosterone.

Explanation:

Cholesterol is a precursor for the byosinthesis of steroid hormones. One of them is Testosterone. Cholesterol is essential for all animal life, with each cell capable of synthesizing it by way of a complex 37-step process. However, it is important to check the level of cholesterol in your body.  Elevated levels of cholesterol in the blood lead to atherosclerosis which may increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, and peripheral artery disease.

What would happen if someone drank a whole bottle of dayquil?
Valentin [98]

Answer:

you will possible throw it all up or die

Explanation:

Well I'm guessing if you drink a whole bottle you are looking for a “DXM high” which is essentially just you overdosing on dextromethorphan. Maybe you handle your DXM well and have pleasant hallucinations for 3 hours or so, but most likely you'll spend the next 6 hours throwing up and barely able to move. Those are the better two outcomes, you could also have a seizure and choke on your own blood, pass out and drown in your own vomit, have a heartattack, go into a drug induced coma, or die a slow painful death weeks later due to liver failure.

Arlecino [84]

Answer:

Selective Attention

Explanation:

Selective attention is the process of fixing one's attention on a particular object or information while ignoring other surrounding distractions. Selective attention allows an individual focus on a relevant stimuli for a certain period of time while tuning out of an irrelevant stimuli in one's surrounding. In other words, selective attention is focusing on what matters and is important. It could be conscious or unconscious.

In the illustration above, the focus on the conversation (relevant stimulus) while ignoring the noisy party (irrelevant stimulus) is called selective attention.
