Americans have political representation in both the House of representatives and the Senate- this aspect of U.S. Politics is most closely tied to the concept of indirect democracy.

Explanation:

In indirect democracy citizens have the power to elect the rulers through voting system. Here the ruling party is the representative of the citizen who represent the desire of the public in font of the nation. In direct democracy individuals choices are not considered.

Americans have political power to choice their representative both in in the house of representatives and senates. Politically equal attitude to everyone, sovereignty and social freedom are the basic thing or principles of democracy.
