Let’s find this out by using proportions! it is very easy to do

192 miles/4.5 hours = m/3 hours

192 * 3 = 4.5 * m cross multiply

576 = 4.5m

576 / 4.5 = m divide both sides by 4.5

128 = m

your answer is 128 miles! hope this helped, blessings! x

The perimeter of a rectangle is 56 inches. The rectangle is 20 inches long. How wide is the rectangle?
Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

The answer is A 8 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

If the perimeter is 56 inches and it is 20 inches long, then you would multiply 20 by two and get 40, then you subtract 40 from 56 and get 16. Finally, you divide 16 by two and get 8. So, A 8 inches will be your answer.

Hey uh can anyone help me with this? This is a test and I dont need an explanation since its the last day of the marking period,
Archy [21]

Answer:

Look at explanation.

Step-by-step explanation:

<em><u>Dilation of scale factor of 5, because it would become more wide and open by a factor of 5. Reflection over y-axis, because it makes the shape double the size. Dilation of scale factor of 1/2, because it makes the shape half it's size.</u></em> The rotating 90 degrees would only change the shapes position, not the size. The translation would only move the shape to a different area, and not change the size.

Simplify by combining like terms 4s + 1/6s + 2 3/5s
HACTEHA [7]
<h3>The solution by combining like terms is 6.7667</h3>

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

<em><u>Given expression is:</u></em>

4s + \frac{1}{6}s + 2\frac{3}{5}s

We have to simplify by combining the like terms

From given,

4s + \frac{1}{6}s + 2\frac{3}{5}s

Convert the mixed fraction to improper fraction

4s + \frac{1}{6}s + \frac{13}{5}s

Make the denominator same

\frac{4s \times 30 }{30} + \frac{1s \times 5}{6 \times 5} + \frac{13s \times 6}{5 \times 6}\\\\\frac{120s}{30} + \frac{5s}{30} + \frac{78s}{30}\\\\\frac{203}{30} = 6.7667

Thus the solution is 6.7667
