Answer:

$40.95

Step-by-step explanation:

First we need to find out how much he makes per hour. Take the total amount he makes and divide by the number of hours

Amount per hours = 18.20 ÷ 2 1/3

Change the mixed number to a improper fraction

2 1/3 = (3*2+1)/3 = 7/3

Amount per hours = 18.20 ÷ 7/3

Copy dot flip

Amount per hours = 18.20 * 3/7

                               $7.80 per hour

Now we want to find out how much he makes for 5 1/4 hours. Take the amount per hour times the number of hours

Total amount = 7.8 * 5 1/4

Change the mixed number to an improper fraction

5 1/4 = (4*5+1)/4 = 21/4

Total amount = 7.8 * 21/4

Total amount = 40.95

Answer:

  G 6.231 and 6.233

Step-by-step explanation:

F 6.232 and 6.236 rounds to 6.23, 6.24

G 6.231 and 6.233 rounds to 6.23, 6.23

H 6.229 and 6.239 rounds to 6.23, 6.24

J 6.222 and 6.238 rounds to 6.22, 6.24

_____

One way to determine the rounded value is to add 0.005 to the number, then drop all digits to the right of the hundredths place.

Examples:

  6.222 +0.005 = 6.227 ⇒ 6.22

  6.238 +0.005 = 6.243 ⇒ 6.24

Determine the value of r so that the line through (5, 2) and (7, r) has a slope of m= -1/2
vodka [1.7K]
Y = mx + b
slope(m) = -1/2
(5,2)...x = 5 and y = 2
sub and find b
2 = -1/2(5) + b
2 = -5/2 + b
2 + 5/2 = b
4/2 + 5/2 = b
9/2 = b

so ur equation for this line is : y = -1/2x + 9/2

y = -1/2x + 9/2......(7,r)....when x = 7
y = -1/2(7) + 9/2
y = -7/2 + 9/2
y = 2/2
y = 1

so ur missing variable is 1......ur set of points would then be (7,1) <=

What is the y-intercept of the graph of the given line by the equation 3y+4x=15?
serg [7]
In y-intercept: x=0. Hence:

3y+4\cdot0=15\iff 3y=15\iff \boxed{y=5}

The intersection is the point P(0,5)\Longrightarrow \boxed{\boxed{A}}
