Which question would help improve the development of ideas in an essay? I believe its not C or D
ikadub [295]
I believe the correct answer is Are each of the main points supported by details?
In order to develop your ideas, you need details and evidence to support them. If you introduce a new idea which you want to expand upon, the easiest way to do that is to implement more information about it, information such as details as well as proof to support your ideas.

Write an essay showing how empathy is expressed in the movie Beauty and the Beast? Give at least five examples used in the movie
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

Empathy is the ability of a person to understand the emotional situation of another person related to the experiences they face. The film, "Beauty and the Beast" is a great example of this ability, as we can see empathy at different times.

First of all, we can see empathy when Belle decides to be a prisoner in her father's place. That's because she empathizes with the loneliness and sadness that he will feel like a prisoner and she doesn't want him to go through this, preferring to take that feeling to himself. Bela's father also understands that she will suffer and therefore tries to save her.

We can see empathy too, when the castle servants understand the sadness that Belle is feeling for being trapped and leaving her father alone in the world and never seeing him again. The servants try to console her and make her life less sad.

Finally, we see empathy when Belle understands how Beasty behaves, understanding that this behavior comes from loneliness and the fear of never getting rid of the curse. The beast also empathizes with Belle, understanding that she misses her father very much and leaving her free to return home.

In this case, we can consider "Beauty and the Beast" a great film to teach children to understand the people around them, putting themselves in their place, instead of judging them.

What is a vivid verb
asambeis [7]
A vivid verb is a verb that evokes more vivid imagery than a more general verb. It is generally more descriptive.

For example, you can say, "The boy walked down the street." If you want to make the picture even more vivid, however, you could say "The boy sauntered down the street." In this case, "sauntered" is a vivid verb.

Hope this helps! :)

On pages 131-133, Marta is using kittens as a metaphor for the farmers. How are the farmers like the kittens? How does Marta sug
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

1. The farmers are like kittens because they do not speak up for their rights and this is comparable to the timidity of the kittens.

Evidence: Holding up a kitten Marta said, "This is us small meek animals we don’t speak up.”

2. Marta suggests that they go on strike in two weeks to protest for their rights to "higher wages and better housing".

Explanation:

In page 132 of the book Las Almendras, Marta is unhappy with the treatment meted onto the farmers as well as their inability to speak up and demand their rights to food and proper housing. Using a metaphor to drive home her point, Marta holds up a kitten and compares the farmers to it.

Just as this animal was "small and meek", so were the farmers who appeared small in the eyes of their oppressors. She encouraged them to snap out of this timidity by protesting for their rights.
