Renaming everyday items serves two purposes. On the one hand, the author uses these new labels in order to create a feeling of strangeness and alienation. The author wants the reader to feel like the world of the book is very different from ours. However, the words serve a second purpose as well. They allow the reader to feel the numbness and coldness that characterizes this setting.

Answer:

In simple words, A summary refers to the brief reinterpretation of a prolonged written paragraph comprising the much more important aspects of the writer. Summary significantly improves both ones reading as well as writing skill sets. In short  , you need to read a paragraph closely, find key ideas as well as interpret those ideas. Then you have to note down certain ideas quickly within the next few statements or a section.
