Hello!

Foreshadowing is an indication of an event that is to take place in the future. It only gives us an indication of events in the future without telling us exactly what is going to happen.

Answer choice B is the best answer as it gives us a small hint as to what is going to happen to the criminal in the future without telling us directly. The criminal laughing off the friend's advice is a sign that she will continue to break the law, and will eventually be caught.

I think the answer is B. it technically could also be C, it is foreshadowing, but its a bit straight forward so i'm conflicted by it and can't say for certain if it is or isn't a viable option
