I am being asked to write a critique on the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I want to write it on how satire is used throughout

the book. However, I am for some reason thinking that a critique has to be "negative criticism" and I see this satire as positive. So my question is , can a critique be written on positive aspects of the author?

Maybe explain how this is positive in a way that you think it is, but I suggest trying to find some negative criticism as well.

Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

the correct answer is both show Icarus drowning after the wax holding his wings together has melted.

Brueghel's painting Landscape with the Fall of Icarus and Ovid's "The Story of Daedalus and Icarus" are similar because they both show Icarus drowning after ignoring his father's adivce and flying to close to the sun.

In the painting, we can see Icarus's feet sinking into the water. And, in Ovid's story, the melting of the wax holding Icarus's wings together along with his falling into the sea is clearly described.

What passages in the poem explain why the seafarer seeks the rigors of the sea rather?
Dvinal [7]

The speaker of the poem longs for the sea...it is his heart, his soul, his very being.  No matter how much he may want to settle down and enjoy the warm comforts of land, food, drink, and female companionship, his inner being seeks the open sea.
