The sum of the angles shown is ...
  720° = 3x + 240°
Then
  480° = 3x
  160° = x

Angle F = 160° -20° = 140°

Answer:

f =140

Step-by-step explanation:

took the test

 720° = 3x + 240°

Then

 480° = 3x

 160° = x

Angle F = 160° -20° = 140°

A car rRental agent agency advertised renting a car for 26. $95 per day and .33 $ per mile if Brad wants his car for three days
Sergio039 [100]

Answer:

Brad in total drove approximately 361 miles.

Step-by-step explanation:

Renting Cost per day of car  =  $26. 95

Cost per mile= $0.33

So, cost of renting car 3 days = 3 x $26. 95 = $80.85

Total money spent on the trip = $80.85

So, the actual spent money on distance  = Total money spent - The renting charge

= $200 - $80.85 = $119.15

So, Distance travelled  = \frac{\textrm{Total money spent on distance}}{\textrm{cost per mile}}

= \frac{119.15}{0.33} = 361

or, number of miles traveled = 361

So, Brad in total drove approximately 361 miles.

A survey claims that a college graduate from Smith College can expect an average starting salary of $ 42,000. Fifteen Smith Coll
jek_recluse [69]
<h2>Answer with explanation:</h2>

Let \mu be the average starting salary ( in dollars).

As per given , we have

H_0: \mu=42000\\\\ H_a:\mu

Since H_a is left-tailed , so our test is a left-tailed test.

WE assume that the starting salary follows normal distribution .

Since population standard deviation is unknown and sample size is small so we use t-test.

Test statistic : t=\dfrac{\overline{x}-\mu}{\dfrac{s}{\sqrt{n}}} , where n= sample size , \overline{x} = sample mean , s = sample standard deviation.

Here , n= 15 , \overline{x}= 40,800  , s= 225

Then, t=\dfrac{40800-42000}{\dfrac{2250}{\sqrt{15}}}\approx-2.07

Degree of freedom = n-1=14

The critical t-value for significance level α  = 0.01 and degree of freedom 14 is 2.62.

Decision : Since the absolute calculated t-value (2.07) is less than the  critical t-value., so we cannot reject the null hypothesis.

Conclusion : We do not have sufficient evidence at 1 % level of significance to support the claim that  the average starting salary of the graduates is significantly less that $42,000.

Can y’all help me on question 31?!
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

X < -1 means "X could be anything less than -1."

However, the number line only has selected the numbers greater than 1. That is why it does not represent the equation. Hope this helps :)
