Find all values of x in the interval [0, 2π] that satisfy the equation. (Enter your answers as a comma-separated list.) 18 + 9 c
Gekata [30.6K]
Using the identity cos(2x) = 2 cos^2x - 1
18 + 9(2 cos^2 x - 1) = 27 cos x
18cos^2 x - 27 cos x + 9 = 0
2 cos^ x - 3 cos x + 1 = 0

(2 cos x  - 1 )(cos x  - 1 ) = 0

cos x = 1/2 , 1

x =  pi/3, 5pi/3, 0, 2pi     answer

A machine uses gasoline at a rate of 1/5 gallon per hour

The number of hours it will take the machine to use 9/10 gallon can be calculated as follows

1/5 = 1

9/10= x

cross multiply

1/5x= 9/10

0.2x= 0.9

x= 0.9/0.2

x= 4.5

Hence the machine was operated for 4.5 hours

Answer:

Solution given:

10,000=10^{4}

\sqrt[3]{1,000,000}=\sqrt[3]{10^{6}}=10^{\frac{6}{3}}=10²

\sqrt{1,000,000}=10^6

Now

greatest to least is:

\sqrt{10^6}>10,000>\sqrt[3]{1,000,000}

or

10^6>10⁴>10²

How do you solve w over -1.3 =-6.2
aleksley [76]
So we have W/-1.3 (w over -1.3) then = -6.2
It would look like: W/-1.3 = -6.2
Put -6.2 over 1 so  it looks like W/-1.3 = -6.2/1
Then cross multiply so W x 1 is W
-6.2 times -1.3 is 8.06
Therefore, W is 8.06
