I think it would be advantageous to observe mold colonies on an agar plate because one is able to observe colony structures, pigmentation, among others.  Colony forming units are the individual colonies of bacteria, yeasts or mold. A colony of bacteria or yeast refers to a mass of individual cells of same organism, growing together.

Answer:

In agar, it is possible to determine different properties of these organisms including colony appearance and their pigmentation

Explanation:

Both bacteria and yeast cells can produce aggregations (i.e., colonies) formed from cells that are capable of growing in a solid medium like agar. This property is important in biology because cells in a colony can be counted

NemiM [27]

Entropy, is mainly responsible for the resting state of this protein.

Hydrogen bonds, disulfide bonds, and dipole-dipole interactions produce the complicated folding styles seen in secondary and tertiary structure. however, if a protein does not have these elements of structure, it'll undertake a kingdom in which its entropy is maximized.

Secondary shape is determined through hydrogen bonding within the amino acid chain backbone. Tertiary structure is the entire protein's form, decided Entropy Interplay and hydrophobic forces. The tertiary shape of a protein is the 3 dimensional shape of the protein. Disulfide bonds, hydrogen bonds, ionic bonds, and hydrophobic interactions all affect the form a protein takes.

The nonpolar amino acids have formed the nonpolar center of the protein, weak van der Waals forces stabilize the protein. furthermore, hydrogen bonds and ionic interactions between the polar, charged amino acids make a contribution to the tertiary structure.

What are the phases in meiosis and explain
densk [106]

Cell division happens twice during meiosis. One starting cell can produce for gametes (eggs or sperm.) In each round of division, cells go through four phases called prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.

prophase During prophase the chromosomes become visible as paired chromatids and the nuclear envelope disappears. This phase includes reduction division, which is where the number of chromosomes is decreased from 46 (diploid) to 23 (haploid.)

metaphase This is where the 23 remaining chromosomes become attached to the spindle fibers.

anaphase During this phase, the chromosomes move away from each other to one or the other pole of the spindle fiber.

telophase In which the chromatids or chromosomes move to opposite ends of the cell and two nuclei are formed.

interphase This is a resting period.

2. Identify the epithelial tissue that is most suited to each of the following functions. a. diffusion of gases across lung air
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

e. secretion, absorption and chemical protection

Explanation:

Epithelial tissues is responsible for the protection of the skin, absorption of nutrients during digestion and secretion of waste materials. These tissues form covering to all body surfaces. They also perform a variety of other functions such as excretion of waste substances, filtration of air from dirt and particles and clean the air that is inhaled, diffusion, and sensory reception.
