After a measure passes in the House, it goes to the Senate for consideration. This includes consideration by a Senate committee or subcommittee, similar to the path of a bill in the House. A bill must pass both bodies in the same form before it can be presented to the President for signature into law.
The land was controlled by both the United States and the Great Britain. This was an ongoing dispute until the Treaty of 1846, where a boundary was set in order to provide even control on the lands in the Oregon territory.
With how big our population is and how much energy and materials we use/need everyday of our life. It would make sense that Africa is rich in mineral resources because they use their resources carefully and don't use them as much as we do. They also don't have as much technology as we do.
Powerboat. When a sailboat overtakes a powerboat, the <u>powerboat</u> is the <u>stand-on vessel</u>. In the Navigational rules, the boat that overtakes another one is the "give-way vessel" and the boat being overtaken is the "stand-on vessel". Any vessel overtaking another must stay away from the vessel being overtaken.
