JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY was allegedly killed by LEE HARVEY OSWALD who, in turn, was killed by JACK RUBY.
On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy arrived in Dallas. The route of the presidential entourage had to pass right in front of the Texas School Book Depository, building in which Oswald worked. At 12:30, in the presidential convertible, the second car in a series of several vehicles that transported officials and journalists arrived in Dealey Plaza, the delegation had to make a series of turns to respect the route normally made by important personalities that visited the city of Dallas.
After passing through the building where Oswald worked, three shots were heard. One of these shots hit Kennedy without killing him, but another, probably the last of the three, fatally wounded Kennedy in the head.
Policeman Marrion Baker of the Dallas Police Department heard the shots and ran to the TSBD entrance, sensing that the shots seemed to be coming from there. He began to climb the stairs and when he reached the second floor, where the cafeteria worked, he saw an individual hurrying into a room that had a soda vending machine. It was Lee Harvey Oswald.
Baker found this individual suspicious and ordered him to be arrested. At the same time Roy Trully arrived, in charge of the warehouse's staff, who told the police that this young man (Oswald) worked there.
Baker left Oswald, who drank a soft drink from the vending machine. Then Oswald retired and disappeared from the place to his home. Almost immediately the police began his search as the main suspect, being arrested.
On November 24, 1963, the Dallas police decided to transfer Oswald to the county jail. While Oswald was being moved through the underground parking lots of the police barracks, Jack Ruby violently breaked through the crowd of journalists, photographers and cameramen present and shooted Oswald in the abdomen, wounding him to death. Oswald died in the hospital shortly after.
