An easy way my teacher taught me to read a music sheet/notes easily were by memorizing these acronyms/sayings:

For RH memorize:
-For each space: "FACE", F is the top space then work your way down to E which is the bottum space
-For each line: "Every Good Boy Does Fine" E (Every) is the top line then work your way down each line to the bottum line which is F (Fine).

For LH memorize:
-For each space: "All Cows Eat Grass" A (All) is the last/bottum space then work your way up each space to the top one which is G (Grass).
-For each line: "Good Boys Deserve Fudge Always" G (Good) is the last/bottum line then work your way up each line to the top line which is A (Always)

There are probably other tips out there to learn how to read notes on music sheets easier but this was how I was taught when I was 6 (:

Learnig AC/DC back and black on the drums. Any tips
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

Warm up before you perform. Literally, a little practice before hand warms up your muscles and enables them to move quicker and more agile.

Practice your endurance. Time yourself to see how long you can maintain repetitive motions and practice to exceed your record. But while you're doing these exercises whatever you do STAY RELAXED. If you tense up and start gripping the stick too much your speed will gradually get slower over time not faster, as your technique deteriorates.

Record yourself playing. Many drummers are surprised at the quality of their playing, whether for better or for worse. When you listen to your recording you will be able to pick out rhythm/tempo inconsistencies and iron them out.
