Wouldn’t it be 8? I’m not math genius but 12 is the total of cars and is also x. So it would be 12-4 which is 8?

It should be 4 cars because there are 8 cars each with 4 wheels that is 32 and there are 4 bicycles each with 2 wheel 8 x 4 = 32 and 4 x 2 = 8    32+8=40 wheels

stepan [7]

Answer:

0 (zero)

Step-by-step explanation:

{x}^{2} y - y + x {y}^{2}  - x  \\  =  {4}^{2} \times  0.25 - 0.25 + 4 \times  {0.25}^{2}  - 4 \\  = 16 \times  0.25 - 0.25 + 4 \times  0.0625- 4  \\  = 4 - 0.25 + 0.25 - 4 \\  = 0 \\  \\  \purple {\boxed{ \bold{ \therefore \:  {x}^{2} y - y + x {y}^{2}  - x  = 0}}}
