Here the gift is of the shape of cube.

So in order to wrap the gift we need to find the surface area of cube.

The formula to find surface area of cube is given by:

S.A.=6a^{2}

Where a is length of each edge.

So let us find surface area of one cube.

Length of side length (edge) is given as 7 inches.

Plugging this in the formula:

S.A.=6(7)^{2}

Surface Area of one cube = 294 square inches.

Now Anna purchased Three gifts.

So Surface area of three gifts = 3*294 = 882 square inches.

Answer: Total wrapping paper required by Anna is 882 square inches.

Prove the identity
cos(A+B+C)=cosAcosBcosC-cosAsinBsinC-sinAcosBcosC-sinAsinBcosC
blagie [28]
Hello !

cos (a+b) = cos a cos b - sin a sin b
sin (a+b) = sin a cos b + sin b cos a

cos (a+b+c) = cos (a+(b+c))
cos (a+b+c) = cos a cos (b+c) - sin a sin (b+c)
cos (a+b+c) = cos a (cos b cos c - sin b sin c) - sin a (sin b cos c + sin c cos b)
cos (a+b+c)=cos a cos b cos c - cos a sin b sin c - sin a sin b cos c - sin a cos b sin c

Evaluate the expression when c=2. 6c/2
marshall27 [118]

Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression g(c) = 6c/2, we are to find the value when c = 2

Substitute c = 2 into the expression

g(2) = 6(2)/2

g(2) = 12/2

g(2) = 6

Hence the result when c = 2 is 6
