History

Tobacco planters originally used slaves from Africa. Slaves were first captured by the system of slavery already set in place in Africa, and then brought to European ports on the coasts. From there, they were shipped to the New World, many dying along the journey as a result of the unsanitary ships and inhumane conditions. Once in the New World, they were bought and sold by plantation owners. However, many had only a lifespan of three years once reaching the Americas.

What effect did new technology have on the ordinary people in Europe
Margaret [11]

Answer:

Technology made the production of goods and services easier, and this increased the amount of wealth in the economy, which raised the standards of living of everyone in Europe, including ordinary people.

Explanation:

For example, vapor machines led to the invention of trains, which could ship goods and transport people from point A to point B at a much faster pace. This made goods that were not produced in the immediate surroundings of the average person a lot cheaper, allowing them access to them with their low incomes.
