Which choice should be placed in the blank to create the most positive connotation?
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

Extraordinary

Explanation:

The answer is <u>extraordinary</u> because out of all the other words, it it's more positive. Outlandish, strange, and unusual would put a negitive impact on the sentence.

<em>The aye-aye is one of the most </em><u><em>extraordinary</em></u><em> looking creatures on earth.</em>

I would like to know what a descriptive quote means? My teacher told me to include one for each character in the characters list
Mariana [72]
A descriptive quote is simply a quote that throughly describes and gives details about a subject or in this case a character.

Without more information on your assignment, my best understanding is that your teacher is looking for a quote from whatever literary piece you are reading that best describes each of the characters.

In a moment of weakness, Farrell splurged on a new and very expensive hat
Veseljchak [2.6K]

Answer: This is past <u>simple</u> tense.

Explanation:

  • Past simple tense is formed by adding <u>-ed </u>(in some cases, -d or -ied) to the base form of the verb. The past simple tense of the verb "to splurge" is going to be <em>"splurged." </em>
  • Past progressive form, on the other hand, consists of <u>verb to be</u> and -<u>ING verb form</u> - "was splurging."
  • Past perfect form would be "had splurged", while past perfect progressive would be "had been splurging."
