The Modoc myths were created by the Modoc, an American Indian tribe to explain the creation of the surrounding region. It was said that grizzlies could once walk on two feet and had the ability to speak. The grizzly bears disobeyed the Sky Spirit by marrying one of hiss daughters and having children that were not of his creation and so they were cursed to walk on four feet and they also lost the ability to speak.

vova2212 [387]

Note: This is a check-all-that-apply question. That is why there are two correct answers.

Answer:

3. The conflict between Brutus and Cassius is growing in intensity.

4. Brutus now suspects Cassius because he has become too polite.

Explanation:

This passage was taken from the Shakespearean play "Julius Caesar". Brutus and Cassius were not only friends but also accomplices in betraying and killing Caesar. As the plot progresses, however, the two characters begin to grow distant as the conflict between them grows in intensity.

Brutus's loyal friend Lucillius has payed Cassius a visit, and is now being questioned by Brutus about the way Cassius has treated him. Lucillius makes it clear Cassius was civil, but not at all affectionate. Brutus now begins to suspect Cassius's cold politeness, seeing it as a sign of their friendship being damaged.
