The earth is closer to the sun during summer in the northern hemisphere than it is during winter.
Nataly_w [17]
Salutations!

The Earth is closer to the sun during summer in the Northern Hemisphere than it is during winter. True or False?

True. The Earth is closer to the sun because during the summer, the sun rays are directly hitting towards the Northern Hemisphere which makes it hot. During the winter, the sun rays are not directly hitting, thus, its cooler in winter than in the summer.

Hope I helped :D

How does a volcano erupt
Nastasia [14]
When it's beneath the surface, the molten rock is called magma. When it reaches the surface, it erupts as lava, ash and volcanic rocks. With each eruption, rocks, lava and ash build up around the volcanic vent. The nature of the eruption depends on the viscosity of the magma.
