The land changes or erodes not making it suitable for certain plant life. It can also affect animal and human lives because of the dependence on plant life. Pollution and temperature change could possibly lead to desertification to happen. However, desertification will most likely not cause pollution or temperature change to occur.

4. Receiver (R): this is typically the destination of information (message) or the recipient of a message that is being sent from a sender.
