Answer: When an author creates a picture with words, he is using imagery.

Explanation: Imagery is a literary device that consists in depicting objects, places or ideas by appealing to the reader's physical senses (sight, sound, smell, taste and touch). In that way, the term "imagery" makes reference to creating mental images for the reader by means of words or expressions. Imagery helps the reader to comprehend easily what the writing is trying to represent. This literary device is generally used in poetry but it can also be found in novels or short stories.

kap26 [50]

Explanation:

2. In her view, "The single story creates stereotypes and the problem with stereotypes is not that they are untrue but that they are incomplete. They make one story the only story."

In other words, accurate construction of one's identity identities is not formed by focusing on just a single story, but by noting our other stories; the stories about our experiences in life.

Think about how would you settle Frost's debate: is fiery, passionate anger more or less destructive than cool, calculated reaso
Nesterboy [21]

Answer:

In my opinion, fiery, passionate anger is less dangerous than cool, calculated reason. When you are angry, it causes you to lose reason and become reckless which is incredibly dangerous but when a bad person is perfectly calm and composed, I'd be much more terrified than I would have been facing a yelling man because that means that they are smart and that they have a plan. Is that strange?
