Answer:

C- southern colonies

Explanation:

Pines are mostly native trees of the Northern Hemisphere. In North America, with highest diversity in Mexico and California. Pines are evergreen plants and also produce resinous. The bark of most pine trees is thick and flaky. The shoots are produced in regular inflorescences, which in fact are a very tight spiral resembling a ring of shoots that come from the same point. As it is a native plant of the northern hemisphere, it occurs in large quantities forming dense forests. many pine forests have been found in the southern colonies of the united states.

Swamps were also found in the southern colonies of the United States. The Swamp is a type of ecosystem consisting of partially or fully flooded plains, covered with very dense vegetation and a soil with large amounts of decaying vegetation. It usually forms in areas where there is no river network capable of discharging all the water accumulated by rainfall.

What action did Congress take in response to concerns about the effects of mechanization and Industrialization on the environmen
TEA [102]

Congress set aside protected land. in response to concerns about the effects of mechanization and Industrialization on the environment.

Congress set aside protected land.

Explanation:

The protection land was called protected because it preserved animals and plants of that area and the government banned all kind of resource exploitation and industrialisation and mining which would harm the natural habitat of that area in any way.

Mechanisation and Industrialization affected the environment in every way possible. The animals were becoming endangered. Plants and water resources were depleting due to chemicals from factories and pollution was also affecting the nature.
