There are various arthropods in the world. The arthropods that have wings are identified as insects, and they only have two pairs if wings, which is four.
Insects have two pairs if wings, 2 on the higher part of an insects body and 2 lower ones. It some cases insects lack back wing's.
That being said, winged arthropods(insects) don't always have 2 pairs of wings. The amount of wings varies on the type of insect.
