For number 8, remember that the Great Depression was a tragic financial time in US History. Looking at the three causes and matching options, consider what would go with each one. Farming deals with crops right? Environmental causes could be what goes on around us (weather, land, etc)? Economic causes means dealing with the economy -> think finances. For number 9, consider what you've learned of the climates of different states. What kind of farming happened in California? What happened in Oklahoma?

For number 10, remember that a tariff equates to taxes on imports and exports. What options don't seem to fit? What caused the Smoot-Hawley Tariff in the first place? Narrowing down can be really easy with questions like this, just by remembering what you've learned.
