Sam tumbled up accordingly, dexterously contriving to tickle Andy as he did so, which occasioned Andy to split out into a laugh,

greatly to Haley's indignation, who made a cut at him with his riding-whip.
"I's 'stonished at yer, Andy," said Sam, with awful gravity. "This yer's a seris bisness, Andy. Yer mustn't be makin' game. This yer an't no way to help Mas'r." (p.49)

The correct answer is “comedic tone”. In literature, tone is the attitude of the speaker toward his subject, basically it describes an attitude. Its main objective is communicating his argument and it is described with adjectives. Comedic is something funny. Linking these two definitions, we can notice how it is used in the excerpt by making the character laugh despite Haley’s indignation.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
ludmilkaskok [199]

Answer:

PLEASE MARK BRAINLEST IF YOU CAN < 3i love learning about the holocaust my favorite topic  )

Explanation:

back then , the word “ghetto” was resurrected to refer to new big-city Jewish immigrant neighborhoods these areas were densely crowded but legally voluntary and more mixed between Jews and non-Jews in reality than in popular perception ,Later still, during World War II, the Nazis revived the ghetto as a site of enforced Jewish segregation. As places of mass starvation and disease, and eventually of deportation to the death camps and killing fields

So yes , I do believe that a holocaust survivor would feel very negative about the word ¨ghetto¨ due to the fact they had to suffer alot back then . This word mustve felt very poorly to holocaust survivors . It was not at all a good term .

Whats a good introduction and thesis statement for a drugs essay?
AysviL [449]

one way to start off an essay correctly is to state what the problems are about the topic.

the work you way to the positive affects of the drugs.

a second way is to start with a reason as to why you are writing an essay, ((this is correct, but teachers hate it this way))

last is to ask the question back to yourself. "why are drugs good/bad" ---> "drugs are good because they affect the host and enable new possibilities, but drugs are bad because they damage the body and cause sever and possibly fatal problems."
