Opportunities for single women in the late 1800’s included: working a factory job, working in retail, working in an office, mandatory education for both genders (including higher education in universities), organizations pushing for women’s rights (especially for the right to vote, or suffrage) but the majority of women who were married were running a household as a wife (often the spouse of a farmer).

juin [17]

Answer & Explanation:

'Identical twins separated at birth & raised apart' make an interesting subject for research :

  • Gives insights into personality variation among twins, despite of having the same DNA
  • Idea about 'Nature vs Nurture', to study how birth & environmental factors shape the cognitive & behavioural aspects of twins
  • Analysis of heritability of traits, & factors affecting individual differences in ageing

Probable abuses due to inappropriate evaluation & conclusion of study :

  • Intentional & wilful exposure to different environment for both the twins

Answer:

Nagging a spouse to stop smoking.

Explanation:

Negative reinforcement refers to a situation in which a particular behaviour is strengthened by removing a negative outcome. This concept is part of the theory of operant conditioning by B. F. Skinner. In this example, the person would stop smoking (desired behaviour) in order to avoid the nagging of a spouse (negative outcome). Therefore, this is an example of a negative reinforcement.

4.How are fossil fuels<br>obtained and used? what do i know?
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Fossil fuels are raw material for energy production. They are non-renewable natural resources, originated from organic debris accumulated in the earth's crust millions of years ago.

These fuels are called fossils because they originated from the remains of animals and plants that lived in ancient times. These organic remains have been deposited over thousands of years in very deep layers of the earth's crust and transformed by the action of temperature and pressure.

Fossil fuels are non-renewable resources which means that they are found in nature in limited quantities, so once their stocks are exhausted there is no way to replenish them.
