leo collected data to understand the relationship between the number of minutes minutes he exercises ina day and the number of h

ours he sleeps that night. using the data, he created the equation shown below to model the relationship. In the equation, Y represents the number of hours he sleeps at night, and X represents the number of minutes he exercises ina day Y=0.02x+6.5

For this case we have the following equation:
 y= 0.02x + 6.5
 Where,
 x: number of minutes he exercises a day
 y: <span>number of hours he sleeps at night
 </span>Substituting x = 0 We have:
 y = 0.02(0) + 6.5&#10;&#10;y = 0 + 6.5 &#10;&#10;y = 6.5 hours
 Answer:
 Based on Leo's model he would sleep 6.5  hours at night if he exercises 0 minutes that day.

Answer:

\Huge\boxed{x=7}

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello there!

The first thing we want to do is find the measure of the large leg

To do so we use the Pythagorean theorem which says a^2+b^2=c^2\\

where a and b are legs and c is the hypotenuse

we want to find b given the hypotenuse and short leg

so  b^2=c^2-a^2

all we have to do is plug in a ( a = short leg so a would equal 12) and c ( c = hypotenuse so c would equal 37)

so

b^2=37^2-12^2\\37^2=1369\\12^2=144\\1369-144=1225\\b^2=1225\\\sqrt{b^2} =b\\\sqrt{1225} =35\\b=35

so the longer leg is equal to 35

35=5x

divide each side by 5

5x/5=x

35/5=7

we're left with x=7

love history [14]
This can either be done by multiplying with 125% (1.25) or, by dividing by dividing on 4 and adding a part.

This is the easiest way, tho.

60*1.25=75

The correct answer is 75 mph.
