Yard : fence :: cell : nucleus cytoplasm membrane mitochondria
slava [35]
The correct answer is membrane. Just like the fence protects the yard so does a membrane protect the cell. It prevents things from getting in or out unless passageways are created. The things in the yard would be the mitochondria and other organelles, while the air in the yard and the ground where all things are found would be the cytoplasm. The membrane protects what's in just like a fence protects those in the yard.

Vanyuwa [196]
Evolution- the change in a species over time Adaptation- a change in a species that betters their survival
Natural selection- the idea that organisms that aren’t fit for the environment die off and only the organisms fit for the environment survive and can pass there traits to the next generations. Hope this helps at least get you started! :))

What have you learned about earth and it’s solar system
stira [4]

When the solar system settled or formed into it's current 4.5 billion years ago, the earth was formed when gravity pulled swirling gas and dust in to become the third planet from the sun. Like its fellow terrestrial planets, Earth has a central core, a rocky mantle and a solid crust. The Solar System is the gravitationally bound system of the Sun and the objects that orbit it, either directly or indirectly. Of the objects that orbit the Sun directly, the largest are the eight planets, with the remainder being smaller objects, such as the five dwarf planets and small Solar System bodies.
