Roger is speculated the be the sadist of the group of young boys in Lord of the Flies. Especially under Jack's rule he was shown to have immoral impulses, such as throwing rocks at one of the littluns. From the answer choices, it would be A. Roger takes advantage of the island environment to act on his most immoral impulses. Before they were stranded, Roger had to suppress his impulse to hurt others, but with the isolation of the area and the absence of adults he feels free enough to release this barrier and finally continue with his base instincts and personality.
