I'm going to assume (at least as a start) that Angelica is going to go straight to the gas station. The question then becomes "What is the distance between Angelica's Home and the Gas Station).

Givens
Let Angelica's Home = A
Let The Gas Station = G

A as a point is (4,3)
G as a point is (10,8)

Formula
D = sqrt( (y2 - y1)^2 + (x2 - x1)^2 )

Substitute and Solve
y2 = 8
y1 = 3
x2 = 10
x1 = 4

D = sqrt( (8 - 3)^2 + (10 - 4)^2  ) 
D = sqrt( 5^2 + 6^2 )
D = sqrt(25 + 36)
D = sqrt(61) miles<<<<< Answer

Comment.
That is one answer. Most times it is correct.
But you might have answers that have decimals. 
D = 7.8102 is the decimal form. If you have choices please list them.
