The Arabian Sea is said to have served as a major trade route for the people during the 2nd and 3rd millennium BC. It is found at the Northern region of the Indian ocean, linking up the red sea through the Gulf of Arden and then to the Persian Gulf through the Gulf of Oman.  

Characteristics & features.

It has a depth that is beyond 2,990 meters and no form of islands are found at the middle. The deep water can get to islands at the borders except the northeast of India and Pakistan.
