matrenka [14]

Answer:

\sqrt{28} =\sqrt{(7)(4)} =2\sqrt{7} \\\sqrt{40} =\sqrt{(10)(4)} =2\sqrt{10} \\\sqrt{108} =\sqrt{(36)(3)} =6\sqrt{3} \\\sqrt{125} =\sqrt{(25)(5)} =5\sqrt{5}

-6\sqrt{81} =-6(9)=-54

\sqrt{80} =\sqrt{(16)(5)} =4\sqrt{5)} \\3\sqrt{60} =3\sqrt{(15)(4)} =(3)(2)\sqrt{15} =6\sqrt{15}

-\sqrt{200} =-\sqrt{(100)(2)} =-10\sqrt{2}

4\sqrt{320} =4\sqrt{(64)(5)} =(4)(8)\sqrt{5} =32\sqrt{5}

A 16−oz bottle of parmesan cheese costs $5.78, while an 8−oz bottle costs $3.97. Which is the better buy? Round your answer to t
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

The 16-oz bottle of parmesan cheese is the better buy.

Step-by-step explanation:

Even though 8-oz is half the amount of 16-oz, that doesn't mean it's cheaper. Let's find the amount of and 8-oz bottle when a 16-oz bottle is $5.78:

16-oz bottle of parmesan cheese = $5.78

A price of an 8-oz bottle when 16-oz is divided by 2:

16 ÷ 5.78 = $2.76

The original price of the 8-oz bottle should've been $2.76 but it's more expensive due to VAT.

So the 8-oz bottle is more expensive, therefore the 16-oz bottle is the better buy!

Help answer all questions please and tell me how you got the answers
AleksandrR [38]
8. You start with 240 gallons if in march you use 40% (.4(240)=96) you used 96 gallons in march, leaving you with 144 gallons. If you then used 25% in April (.25(144)=36) you would have used 36 gallons leaving you with 108 gallons at the end of April.

9. If 2277 is 110% the number of 2013 to find what 2013 was you would divide by 110%(1.1)
2277/1,1=2070 at the end of 2013
If 2070 is 90% then we will want to divide by 90% (.9) to get the year before that
2070/.9=2300 so 2300 people were signed up in the year 2012

10.         57.5=p(250)
to solve this divide both sides by 250 to get p=.23
As for the different elements to the equation, there are various answers such as what percentage of people donated $250 if the average amount of money donate from each one is 57.5 although that may no be what you instructor is looking for. pretty much just make up something that sounds okay and you should be fine

Write an input and output pair that is a function and stays a function when you switch the input and output
strojnjashka [21]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  {(1, 2), (3, 4)}

Step-by-step explanation:

If you want both the relation and its inverse to be functions, there can be no repeated x-values, and no repeated y-values.

In the above pair of points, I have avoided duplicates by making all of the values different. That is not necessary, but it satisfies this problem easily.
