<span>The coin flip for the electric potato sorter is an important moment in Schlosser’s book—both for Simplot’s narrative, and for its larger symbolic value. For, of course, Simplot probably would not have gone on to build his potato empire without the sorter. And, more importantly, the very fact of the coin flip makes literal the function of luck in Schlosser’s broader tale of human success and failure. Yes, Schlosser implies, Simplot has worked hard and has made the most of the opportunities that came his way. But even more so, Simplot has been the beneficiary of circumstances that continually break in his favor—he is, in short, also a lucky man.

Why did the salem witch trials happened?
Tanzania [10]
The Salem Witch Trials happened because it was a classic example of scapegoating. Fear combined with a "trigger", a traumatic or stressful event , is what often leads to scapegoating. Fear of the Devil, and  witches who did his bidding, was very real in Salem at the time. Hoped this helped ! :) Btw you should look into the salem witch trials a lot of events took place so you can get a better insight into what really happened with people and events.

Looks Great! A few critiques...
In paragraph 1 i think you spelled socialize wrong.
Are you taking this information from any sources?

if so, try using this to write you essays next time...
K-key idea
E- evidence -1
A- analyze evidence( give your thoughts
T-transition-( i.e.- Continuing on,
E- Evidence -2
A- analyze evidence
L- link the paragraph all together

it really helps to keep everything organized and consistent. For your introduction, try using a hook, a bridge , and finally a thesis. A thesis should ALWAYS be the last sentence in your intro paragraph.
For your conclusion start of with your thesis, go into your Main ideas of the essay, and then give something for the reader to think about (clincher)

Hopefully this helped!!
