Inequalities are just like regular equations with only one exception. Which is when yo multiply or divide by a negative number to both sides of the inequality sign you must flip it. But, for this inequality that rule will no apply. So, what I do to make it easier because I know we all see a different sign in an equation and we start to freak out. So, change the inequality sign to an equals sign to get a hang of working with them.
Example of changing an inequality sign to an equals sign:

Addition property of equality

or
Example of keeping the inequality sign

Addition property of equality

Its D, bc everything is even on both sides.
You would take your number, let's use 55, and multiply it by 0.35.
55 x 0.35 = 20.25
Then add that answer to your original number.
55 + 20.25 = 75.25
Your answer is 17.25.
Step-by-step explanation:
a.)Buying: total cost
Total cost= commission + (price per share× Number of of shares ) ;
Total cost= 11 + (19.72×30)= $591.6+11= $601.6
b.)Net gain or loss;
First, find cash received from sale of stock and deduct commission;
Cash from sale =20.75×30= $ 622.5
deduct commission= 622.5-11= $611.5
Gain or loss= sale-cost = 611.5-601.6 = $9.9, meaning there is a profit.
c.) Annual rate of return= (net gain or loss/amount paid)×100%
return= 9.9/(601.6)×100 = 1.645%
Answer:
2/-8=x
x=1/-4
Here dividing -8 by 2 and 2 is dividing itself
