In order to find the <u>factored form</u>  of the function you have to follow those steps

we have

f\left(x\right)=x^4-3x^{3\ }-23x^2+75x-50

we know that

The <u>zeros</u> of the function are the values of x when the function is equal to zero

so

Step 1

Using a <u>graphing</u> tool -------> find the <u>zeros</u> of the polynomial

see the attached figure

The <u>zeros</u> are

x=-5\ x=1\ x=2\ x=5

Step 2

Find the <u>factored form</u>

f\left(x\right)=x^4-3x^{3\ }-23x^2+75x-50=(x+5)(x-1)(x-2)(x-5)

therefore

the answer is

f\left(x\right)=(x+5)(x-1)(x-2)(x-5)

All the events in the sample space that are not part of the specified event are called _____. Group of answer choices joint even
Yuki888 [10]

All the events in the sample space that are not part of the specified event are called<u> Complement of Event.</u>

Complement of event:

The complement of an event is the subset of outcomes in the sample space that are not in the event. A complement is itself an event. The complement of an event A is denoted as A c A^c Ac or A′. An event and its complement are mutually exclusive and exhaustive.

Two events are said to be complementary when one event occurs if and only if the other does not. The probabilities of two complimentary events add up to 1. For example, rolling a 5 or greater and rolling a 4 or less on a die are complementary events, because a roll is 5 or greater if and only if it is not 4 or less.

Find the unknown side of a rectangle solid. V=30 cm3, H=3 cm, W=5 cm
Alex17521 [72]
V = 30cm³
H = 3cm
W = 5cm
L = ?

V = H × W × L

therefore:
3 × 5 × L = 30
15L = 30
L = 30 : 15
<u>L = 2 (cm)</u>
