Answer: Community Preventive Services, also known as The Community Guide, is a free resource for evidence-based recommendations and findings from the Community Preventive Services Task Force (Task Force), an independent, nonfederal, volunteer body of public health.

Supportive community Service, provide guardianship services for individuals in need. It brings professional guardianship to the neighborhood.

Rehabilitative Community Services (RCS) is for children or youth up to the age who have a developmental disability that affects their everyday functioning. (Ex. Autism Spectrum Disorders & Intellectual Disability). Services include skill building in activities of daily living and behavior management.

Services may be delivered in individual or group settings, and are intended to help the child function better in home and community through working on goals identified in a treatment plan. Services must be authorized by the Department's authorized agent, and be reviewed periodically to ensure access to medical necessity.
