Since the body is no longer functioning the cells would die in "a couple minutes or even seconds." Because of how the body is not functioning there is no way to keep the cell alive which would cause all he cells to die rather quickly, because of when the heart stops pumping there would be no way to get nutrients to the cell to keep it alive.
