The correct answer is Option d) to prevent politicians from investing in businesses.

The goal of Congress when it passed the Sherman Antitrust Act was to prevent politicians from investing in businesses.

It has been described as a 'landmark statute' in US history. It was passed in 1890 by the Congress then under President Benjamin Harrison.

Critics of the law cited the law as an attempt by the government to regulate free market economy, while supporters of the Act pointed out how it would help in safe guarding the general population against the failure of the market system.

Which of the following would not be an issue supported by modern conservatives?
lora16 [44]
An issue that wouldn't be supported by modern conservatives would be more restrictions on pollution - A.

The reason why this is probably the correct asnwer is because they certainly are pro-life on the issue of abortion and they would want loose gun control laws. They would as well like for the military to spread American ideals. However, they are somewhat reluctant when it comes to restrictions on polution.
