Remark

I hope all you want is the radius of the circle. If you want more, we'll need the pictures.

If a chord is 10 inches long, then the distance from the center of the chord the center of the circle is given as 5 inches. Distance in this instance is thought of as the shortest distance from the center of the circle to the chord. Thus 5 inches.

The center of the chord to the center of the circle is one side of a right triangle. 1/2 the distance of the chord is another side of a right triangle. The radius is the third side.

a = 5

b = 5

c = ??

Formula

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

Sub and solve

c^2 = 5^2 + 5^2

c^2 = 25 + 25 Combine the right

c^2 = 50 Take the square root of both sides.

sqrt(c^2) = sqrt(50)

sqrt(c^2) = sqrt(25 * 2)

sqrt(c^2) = sqrt(25) * sqrt(2)

c = 5 * sqrt(2) = radius <<<<< Answer.

Angelica is a sales representative for appliance. She needs to make at least $5,000 in weekly sales of a particular TV model to
Basile [38]

Answer:

20 TV need to be sold to qualify for the trip.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Sale price of each TV is $250

           Sales target to qualify for trip is $5000.

As given, T represent TV sold.

Now, finding the number of TV sold to qualify for the trip.

Forming an inequality for the number of TV sold to qualify for trip.

We know, Total amount of TV sold= Selling\ price\ of\ each\ TV \times Number\ of\ TV\ sold

∴ To qualify for trip: 250T\geq 5000

solving it by dividing both side by 250

∴T\geq \frac{5000}{250}

T\geq 20\ TV

Hence, Angelica need to sell minimum 20 TV to qualify for the trip.

7932 x 56 = 444192 and since it’s asking you to multiply by .56 and 793.2, just move the decimal over to the left three places in your answer since there’s three digits after the decimals in your factors. so you get 444.192
