Because HI=HG, ∠IGH=∠HIG=2x-24
the three interior angles of a triangle make a total of 180, so
(3x+4)+(2x-24)+(2x-24)=180
7x-44=180
7x=224
x=32
so ∠HIG=2x-24=2*32-24=40
