Answer: Judicial Review

Explanation: Judicial review is the power of the courts of a country to examine the actions of the legislative, executive, and administrative arms of the government and to determine whether such actions are consistent with the constitution or not.

Judicial review can also be said to be the adjudication of constitutionality of statutes especially by the Supreme Court of the United States. Judicial review depends upon the existence of a written constitution.

Constitutional judicial review begun with the assertion by John Marshall, the fourth chief justice of the United States (1801–35), in Marbury v. Madison (1803), that the Supreme Court of the United States had the power to invalidate legislation enacted by Congress.

Anon25 [30]

The Industrial Revolution led to many changes. Work was massive and working conditions were totally unfair. Some examples were: minimal wages, underage kids were working, companies didn't pay taxes, workers were not safe, etc...

Thanks to the reforms, many concepts were introduced and laws were passed on that. This helped to regulate business practises. Companies couldn't evade taxes, workers made more wages and they could work in a healthier environment, working hours were normal ( 8 hours), children exploitation stopped.

QveST [7]

The correct answer is A) Categorical self

Explanation:

The term "categorical self" is used in psychology and related fields to refers to the categories in which individuals classify themselves; this is related to self- awareness, self-concept and the development of one's identity as separate from others.

Annmarie is beginning to develop the categorical self because her words "I a good girl" show that she knows she is a sperate person from others. Besides this, she categorizes herself as a girl, which shows she has understood the difference between girls and boys, and then identify the category in which she fits. Finally, by saying she is good, she shows ideas about herself (self-concept).
