The correct answer is C) development of medieval guild towns and cities.

Urbanization of Europe in the High Middle Ages resulted in the development of medieval guild towns and cities.

That was how many towns developed into cities during Medieval times. The first reason, of course, was that the population increased. Then, trade between towns made possible the relationship between people that started to settle in these towns for commercial purposes. Religious places such as monasteries grew and new communities were formed. The Feudal system supported the growth of towns as people arrived to find jobs in the farmlands.

It seemed like everyone was happy to have Washington as the executive
Gekata [30.6K]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Knowing what I know about Washington's past, what I think he meant by this quote: "the office chooses the man" is the following.

For General George Washington, that quote meant that sometimes in the life of a man, he has to accept the fact that although you do not want some, your responsibility is to accept some kind of job because you are the one who has the knowledge and experience to do it right.

Maybe is difficult, maybe is tough, but only a few brave men have the talent to do it. So it is not a matter of if you like it or want it. It is that you are the one with the credentials to do it right.

And this was the case of George Washington the first President of the United States.
