Clumped population distribution, as the name suggests, involves several to many clumps of individuals of the population distributed across the habitat. They are usually larger spaces/gaps between the clumps in clumped distribution than between individuals in dispersed populations.
Explanation:
Lions like in groups called prides that can have as many as 40 members in some cases. The male lions are responsible for protecting their territory which can cover over 100 square miles depending on size of the pride. Elephants, too, have clumped population distribution behave they mainly stay in herds.
An advantage of clumped distribution to the population is the increased security offered by living in large families hence increasing the chances of offspring surviving to maturity.

if two animals are held in captivity seperate when they finally meet they will more than likely be hostile to each other because they dont know what a friend is lets take a cat for example dont give a cat a friend and now it sees a interesting laser on the floor and chases it well thats adorable and all but you just taught your cat how to be hostile and hunt and it will do that for the rest of its life well now lets say this cat is 2 and an adult female when she comes across another female or another species of animal she will definitely attempt to fight it because its all she knows
