In a sentence, conjunctive adverbs can be very useful in a paragraph or an essay. Authors tend to use these a lot since they add interest in the story and keep it a bit more advanced but not too wacky. Their three uses are: joining adverbs, joining clauses, and joining phrases. Since i cannot see your examples i will make 2 of my own.
